Rash after stomach virus (adult)

I had an awful stomach virus, complete with fever and utter exhaustion, for about 5 days last week. Yesterday I developed an itchy red rash on my chest. I'm assuming they're related, but who knows. Should I get it checked by a doctor or just hope it's another symptom of the virus that won't quit and that it will go away soon?
