You are frightened by protests? Should we stop protesting the dismemberment and starvation of children because some members of the community feel unsafe? Or is it just Saturdays that are off limit?

Depends what the protests are about. Definitely doesn’t seam like they’re calling for peace. Seeing a whole bunch of stuff calling for the obliteration of Israel which is indeed, scary.

The protests are calling for a ceasefire and rapid deployment of aid. I have not seen any act of violence in these protests, these are the most peaceful protests I have seen in the last decade. Fringe elements exists in every protest, not sure why you would be more scared of these protests than any other.

Here is an example of violence at the pro palestinian rally

https://www.ynetnews.com/article/hk60idrga

This is just one example but there were many across the country

Did you even watch the video? A fight broke out and most protesters rushed to stop it, including several pro-Palestinians protecting the couple. I am very sorry, but not surprised, that dueling protesters are getting into heated arguments and fights. Don't attend these protests if you feel scared.

Ummm yes I am afraid of violent protests, of which there have been many when it comes to pro-Palestine. I am not afraid of peaceful protests.

What violent protests are you talking about? I have yet to see a looting, burning of cars, vandalizing of property, throwing bricks, fireworks and heavy objects at police officers. No guns, no pepper spray, no mass arrests, no injured police officers. Has the word violent protest lost it's meaning? Or a very narrow difinition exists for these protests?

Thank you, Senator Fetterman, for your moral clarity on this conflict and for displaying photos of the hostages..

DP. Nice "both sides" there.

A fight didn't "break out"--several pro Palestinian protestors attacked the couple.

"Don't attend these protests if you feel scared?"

Would you say that to any other group of people?

Apparently you watched the video with your ass. An elderly Jewish couple got lost and ended up at the pro palestinian protest. A nice Christian man tried to escort the couple to safety, the pro palestinian mob attacks him, as in at least 10 people attack this one man.

It’s also extremely difficult to trust anything that comes from a Turning Points USA source.

From the Jerusalem Post article:

Police said that at one point, members of the crowd confronted an individual who then brandished a handgun and shot one warning shot in the air. That individual was taken into custody. A participant in the pro-Palestine protest was also taken into custody for assaulting two people with pepper spray, causing minor injuries.

No. The original source is still the same.
“ Peter Christos, a member of the activist group Turning Point USA, says protestors punched him, kicked him in the head, and hit him with a flagpole before police were able to intervene.”

“A fight broke out,” “some students waited at the library while others protested” - ok DCUM; this is gaslighting language.
And yes, I am aware children are dying in Palestine:

I love this! The New York tough guys are coming out to help.

A guy tried to rip down kidnapped posters, but Tony Soprano was there.
