Public Trump Impeachment Hearing Mega Thread

The only somewhat valid defense I heard (but I skip Jordan most of them time though) was the refrain that the President sets foreign policy. Which is largely true, but if he didn’t want Ukraine to get any aid because they hate him, the proper response was to refuse to sign the bill that granted the aid. Not all this other mishegas.

I don’t 100% agree with you but love your use of mishegas!-

Anyone want to guess what Lord Baldemort, E.U. Ambassador, is going to say this morning?

I predict he is scared to death after Stone verdict and will spill his guts.
I am sure his lawyer has advised him to choose himself over Trump!

Sondland needs to either plead the 5th or scream like Kavanagh and Graham, telling Schiff to pound sand. The lawyers are over cautious and will want him to take the Fifth.

That’s stupid. Sondland has a great story to tell that the Deep State is trying to take this President down. The supposed “phone call” is the crown jewel.

He should scream that there IS no phone call, and any supposed recording is a Deep Fake. Don’t concede a thing. No surrender. Threaten Democrat inquisitors with imprisonments, and any rogue Federal prosecutors with de-funding.

Sondland does that, and it’s Game Set Match.

If the Republicans best move is a Kavanaugh style temper tantrum with some extra conspiracy theory thrown on top, I feel pretty good about this process.

Checked out faux news last night out of curiosity.

For Carlson and his viewers, the number 1 moment from yesterday is that Vindman was offered Chief of the Ukrainian military post 3 times.

His possible lack of loyalty to the USA is the number 1 most important takeaway from yesterday. For millions of Americans with disproportionately powerful votes.

And this is why Vindman and his family are being kept in a safe location. Because the corrupt, gun-crazy Republican intelligentsia like Carlson and the committee reps want their mouth-breathing no-hope meat puppets to threaten and even physically harm him. That’s why Trump made fun of his uniform. Why Nunes called him a much lower rank. Why the Foxbots like amoeba-brained Kilmeade have said Vindmans really a corrupt and conflicted Ukrainian, not a citizen with a Purple Heart. (That’s why a poster with the soul of a puke-filled diaper ranted here that Vindman didn’t really deserve the Purple Heart).

They want him silenced.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Sondland folds like a cheap suit. He’s basically a hotelier. They brought him in precisely because he has little experience in foreign affairs. Bet he’s regretting that $1mil donation to Trump.

Sondland ---> Game, set, match

"Was there a quid pro quo? The answer is yes."

And guess what? EVERYONE KNEW.

Oh, yeah, and everything Sondland did WAS AT THE DIRECTION OF THE PRESIDENT.

Trump says he doesn't know Sondland that well. If somebody gave me $1million, not only would I know how do you like your eggs but all your other likes. Oh yeah and that annual Christmas card without fail.
