Can someone explain the Arlington Science Focus boundary to me?

I had a look at the boundary map and it seems to cross Key, Taylor and Ashlawn...... Does that mean that if we live in boundary for any of these schools, we can elect to send our child to ASF? I would also be very appreciative if anyone could direct me to rental apartments within the ASF boundary. Thanks so much!

Ashlawn? No. I think in theory if you're in the Ashlawn zone, you could apply for a transfer to ASFS, but under current enrollment levels, you can't.

If you are zoned for Key, you can transfer to ASFS. If you are zoned for Key, ASFS, Taylor, or Jamestown, you can apply for a team transfer to one of the other schools on the team.

Do you have to have an apartment? Would you be willing to rent a house?

If you're sure you want Science Focus, you should rent within the Science Focus boundary. The schools are crowded, and you can't be sure your transfer will be approved.

you missed the kinder info night last night?

PP is incorrect - ASFS has the same boundary as Key, IOW, if you're in Key, choose either; otherwise, good luck.

Rosslyn, Courthouse, Clarendon have plenty of rentals.
