Open House for nursery school in College Park

My child attended UCNS some years ago and it was a strong play-based program. See below for information on their upcoming open houses. 15 minute drive from Takoma Park/downtown Silver Spring.
************** University Church Nursery School (UCNS) of College Park announces its Open House schedule for parents interested in the 2011-2012 school year. Please note our new school hours of 9AM - 1PM for all classes. Conveniently located on the edge of the UMd campus, we have numerous families from Takoma Park at our school. February 3: 9:45 - 10:45 Drop-in Open Houses during school hours. Join us for a brief visit during the school day. While you will be able to see each classroom "in action", the teachers will not be available for lengthy one-on-one interaction while teaching. February 19 (SNOW DATE: February 26): 10:00 - noon Weekend Open House. Tour the school, meet the teachers, and have the opportunity to ask questions of current UCNS parents. Children are welcome! Upon request, tours may also be scheduled at times other than our Open Houses. UCNS is a half-day preschool program for children ages two to four, serving the local community since 1969. Students benefit from highly qualified and dedicated staff, and favorable teacher-student ratios. We are fortunate to be located on sprawling grounds with wooded areas and walking trails that allow for many opportunities to bring nature into the classroom, or bring the classroom out into nature! We also have two outdoor playground spaces, an indoor gymnasium for active play on rainy days, and a library.
