When is it time to see a doctor?

I am wondering when it is time to see a doctor to get my cycles straightened out. A brief overview - my daughter is 14 months old. We have been TTC #2 since January - I have been charting and temping, and so far have had only 3 cycles - and only in 1 did I ovulate (I think). My cycles have always been long but these have been up to 6+ weeks and much more erratic. I am no longer breastfeeding (and haven't been since November). How long do I ride this out? Have others had experiences like this?

Go see the doctor. Why wait? I think they can draw blood to test hormone levels at different times in your cycle to see what's going on.

Also, acupuncture is good for regulating cycles.

Call today.

OP here, thanks, I will. I think I was putting it off because I was afraid that they would not take it seriously or just say I need to wait it out longer.

Yes, I would call right away. (I waited far too long my first time, and I never knew how long the tests would take.) Also, I would see an RE after of few months of TTC under the care of a regular OB/Gyn. Don't waste too much time with a regular doctor.

Good luck to you!!!!!!
