Need a (cheesy) Christmas sweater for a 7 y.o. boy. Where? bricks and mortar

I have checked: Target, Walmart, Sears/Lands End and JCPenney. Nada. I see Hanna has some online, I guess I can call the mall to see if they're stocked there.

What gives? Where can a kid get his reindeer on?

Macy's - They always have a ton of Christmas sweaters from their Greendog line, some cheesier than others.

What an unfortunate thing, the christmas-themed sweater. Can't you just buy him a nice red cable knit sweater. I bought a nice red sweater (inexpensive) from Children's Place. For some reason, the boys clothing there is not 1/2 as fugly as the girls stuff.

I will definitely tell him some fun hater on a mom forum wants to take that away from him on Christmas day. Why even suggest red? It's so loud. Don't you think navy or charcoal would be better?

Not PP, but yes, charcoal would be much more sophisticated.

Seriously, there have got to be all kinds of lighthearted, fun Christmas things he can wear short of those G-d awful sweaters that are really a relic of middle-American Christmases past. I'm sure Cafe Press or some similar company can print a clever something with a well-designed graphic so he can be both hip and holiday-spirited.

Why do you PPs care if her son wants a Christmas sweater? My son had that very sweater from Macy's with the Christmas tree and the different balls underneath a few years ago. He LOVED that sweater and I thought it looked cute on him because he loved it so much. Go away, bitches.

Totes. I'll give him the alternatives, since I'm the parent: either tasteful and subdued, ideally from a Swedish designer OR hip and clever and well-designed. [or does the well-designed go with subdued? Im confused].

Anyway, thanks for setting us straight.

ps -- can you recommend a hip, subdued main dish for Christmas day? Something they haven't heard of in middle America, ideally. Or I guess the South, either. What are they serving in Chelsea?
