I would like to send a few gifts around $50-$100. The products at Omaha are what I am looking for--steaks, sides, desserts---but I would like something different. Any suggestions? Thanks. |
Harry an David, but that doesn't have the entrees, just desserts/fruit. There is Allen Brothers for steaks, it is a lot more expensive than Omaha, but the quality is a lot better too. |
I was just going to pose a similar question, I want to send a food gift basket of some kind and am looking for something different. I've done Omaha Steaks, Harry and David and Edible Arrangements in the past. will look at allen brothers. |
Allen Bros are far superior to Omaha.
I would second the Harry/David suggestion. Class act, and always a good presentation. |
for great and unique food gifts, try www.zingermans.com. really great food, great website, amazing customer service.
allen brothers steaks are very good (much better than omaha) if you want those. |
Lobel's?
http://www.lobels.com/ |
zingerman's looks interesting, might try that this year. |
Most sides are gross. |
lobel's! we recieve some steaks as gifts every year and we love it. Better quality than Omaha steaks, IMO |
Harry and David has that awesome chicken pot pie this year. |
Jack Stack BBQ. |
William Sonoma |
Zingerman's is a good suggestion. I've also really liked the stuff I've gotten from Dancing Deer. It's desserty but really good and fresh.
Harry and David's doesn't seem that worth it to me these days, now that you can go to Whole Foods and get good fruit and cheese just about anywhere. |
