Any great ones walking distance to a metro?

"Great" depends on your definition as does "walkable". But I would suggest.....

Marshall Road
Mosby Woods (AAP Center)
Stenwood

I'm not familiar with the more close in schools.

Haycock - near West Falls Church metro

Oakton near the Vienna metro

Oakton is not exactly walking distance to metro, unless you've got some time, but sort of close. Marshall Road is basically across the street.

Fairhill ES is hallway between Dunn Loring and Vienna metros. Wouldn't say it's walkable, but it's a great school.

I'm guessing they meant Oakton High School, even though the person asked for elementary schools. Yeah, Oakton elementary wouldn't be that close to the Metro.
