IVF Pts Who Got a BFN Before a BFP - Any Difference In Your 2WW Symptoms?

I understand that everyone's body and everyone's experience during the 2ww is different and I know it is still early. However, I am just curious to know if those patients who did IVF where they got a BFN before their BFP, experienced different symptoms during their 2ww or were your 2ww experiences the same for both your negative and positive beta results. I know progesterone and estrogen supplements play tricks on your body but I am currently in the dreadful 2ww and I'm feeling exactly the same way I did during my last 2 IVF cycles 2wws (1 fresh, 1 FET).

I wish that I could offer you hope OP. I really do. But with both of my IVF cycles (BFN and then BFP) the symptoms were identical.
On my BFP cycle I didn't start getting any pregnancy symptoms until 5 weeks (which was exactly one week post beta) and the first symptom was a bloody nose. GL!! |

honestly? No difference at all. I had a positive cycle (child 1) followed by a negative cycle (attempt at child 2) and the symptoms were identical. So much so that I was SURE I was pregnant. It was really hard. Then with try #3 (successful for child 2) the symptoms were the same again.
In my experience, the suplemental progesterone mimics pregnancy exactly. |

| OP here...thank you so much for your responses PPs. Actually, you are giving me so much hope! I've been absolutely hysterical this past week because I thought that since I didn't feel any different from my last 2ww experience (which was a BFN) that I was out of the game again and this cycle was a bust. Maybe I still have a chance. I have one more week left to go. Thanks so much for your support. |

| I felt crampy with both cycles, but I had some slight nausea with the BFP cycle and not with the BFN. |

Me! My boobs didn't get sore during the entire pregnancy. However, they never ever get sore (like for PMS). |

| Did anyone who had a negative cycle before their positive cycle only experience symptoms related to taking progesteron and estrogen supplements? Were your symptoms/side effects similar during both cycles or different? |

| Physically I felt the same in both BFN and BFP cycles, but I definitely felt more positive in the cycle that worked, I was more emotional but happier. |
