I was very impressed and she struck me as incredibly smart, humble, and calm. It was clearly important to her to have buy-in from families and faculty and staff before making changes. She said it's important to "stick with the trouble" and not jump from one decision to another, but to also admit when you've made a mistake.

Can you name the person?

Find out about your school. You will be shocked. They are everywhere. It is a grift. I am a liberal democrat.

I hope they have nothing to do with the new candidates

Many schools involved? Why did it take us so long to know this? Why did no one speak up earlier that it had to do with more than just our school? Does that have anything to do with why there is so much silence surrounding the issue?

Look no further than NAIS and POCC. It’s a whole exploitative ecosystem with legions of devotees in just about every independent school in the country.

What is their goal with this?
What other DMV schools are affected?

No, it isn't.

NAIS is a professional association. Accreditation happens through separate state or regional-level organizations.

My fault. You’re right. NAIS isn’t an accrediting body, but they do have major influence on the direction and administration of independent schools. Point remains that RG should never have been hired at Friends Council given his track record.

Is it possible RG was offered interim at Friends Council and then resigned?

Is it possible that BOT forced him out with little warning,- meaning they didn't indicate their intent earlier in the year where he could have had time to seek employment at other schools and therefore as a consolation he was offered the interim at Friends council?

If his interim position is up after one year and he is not hired by any Quaker establishment that will be very telling.

However, I don't understand the desire clearly indicated on this forum to the investigate RG and his group. He is gone and good riddance. I would rather focus exclusively on SSFS and it's future.

Accountability mainly. But yes, let’s hear about these new HoS candidates!

This group is called SSFS HOS leaving, RG is the HOS that left. And building a better future means we need to understand what led to RG becoming HOS and his issues so we dont repeat mistakes. AND because RG is now at Friends Council, he still has a connection to the school.
