Anti-Trump bias in Montgomery County

We asked a family to Bubble with us during quarantine and they declined after I finally got a Trump bumper sticker. It's disgusting.

I would never “bubble“ with a Trump supporter because no Trump supporters I know actually take the pandemic seriously. I would not trust you and your family to limit outings, socially distance, wear masks, etc. etc. etc.

Trump is a hateful human being with no basic decency or morals. He is universally reviled around the world. Even Putin hates him even though Trump is Putin's bitch.

And again today on National TV Trump said he was going to self fund his reelection. Hahaha OP come on he said the same exact thing in 2016. As soon as the monies were due, he walked back his pledge. Big surprise, as usual Trump doesn't pay his bills.

Matter of FACT he hasn't paid one police department, yeah the guys that protect us. Don't you think he should?

He hasn't paid taxpayers what he owes them either. He owes us millions.

Then there is the little issue of him funneling monies to his portfolio while in office. He charges more than twice the going rate at any of his properties everytime he goes to one. Do you not understand how many millions of dollars that taxpayers put out for that? Why in the world do you think that is ok?

Oh I forgot you are one of the Trumper's who clearly can not look up FACTS yourself!

It is not just politics as usual. I voted for McCain and Romney. I voted for Hillary because Jeb Bush/Kasich were not on GOP ticket. DH voted for Trump but will vote for Biden. My problems with Trump stemmed from his sexually assaulting women and admitting to it.

- Independent who will vote for Biden.

Do the sexual assault allegations against Biden trouble you?

Actually I was a little excited since he was not my 1st choice. But have you read anything about it? Tara Reade? Do you actually know what happened? Have you read About Tara Reade?

Agreed. As an immigrant and POC, I just can’t associate with people who voted for an openly racist and anti-immigrant demagogue. Trump’s policies directly affect the lives of immigrants (kids in cages is just one example). No way I’m remaining friends with someone who supports such heinous things.

Ah yes, good old MoCo. The county where I was lectured by a group of 10 people for calling my maid a "maid" when her business card says "maid." Land of the artificially woke.

Or the land of idiots. Let's see, horseback riding group of adults, in March held a party no social distancing, mocking masks, created signs that they drove around a portion of the county with horrible things on their signs, so yeah there is that as well.

It's no better here in Virginia. The virtue signaling is amazing. If you put up a BLM sign, Dump Trump sign or Thank you Dr Fauci you are in the cool crowd. If any of these inner city acts came to our neighborhoods white women would be the first one asking for the cops to come help out and would no longer call the protests "peaceful". But we all have NIMBYISM and putting a sign in the front yard of our 2 million dollar house means we care. Being open minded means you go along with the crowd and yell down anyone else's opinion. I only hope the silent majority pulls through yet again this November and squashes this for 4 more years.

Here, it's as if people just ASSUME you're against Trump. It's been like that since 2016. To be accepted into fine society you have to be liberal, politically correct, a Democrat, and against Trump. Neighbors are cliquish and don't want to hang out with you if it is known that you support Trump. Worse of all, people just casually make digs at President Trump and assume you'll go along with it. This is seen all over society whether it's schools that allow students to protest against guns but not against abortion, or casual dining room conversations where Trump is the butt of the joke or an icebreaker being like how horrible Trump is, or a small business selling "Maryland gifts" has Trump toilet paper. Do people not. get dissenting opinions, and why is it just assumed that everybody hates Trump? It's just so casually assumed that nobody could possibly support Trump and be their neighbor.

They don’t like your politics. Would you like someone who wore klan robes or a swastika? For many people, trump is no better.

So stop being a big cry baby. Vote for whom you live kevand accept the consequences that people may not like you.

Yes, politics used to be something people didn't discuss. I agree. It was your friend, Mr. Trump, who changed all that. Now, even wearing a mask is seen as a political statement.
Trump caused the climate we live in now. No one else. If you support him, it's time for you to own that.

No, Trump didn’t start that. The same conversations were taking place during the Obama Administration, only they were glowing about him. They still assumed that anyone with a brain would agree with them. It is true that we have disparate groups with totally different values in this country, but I would strongly disagree that more than 1% of Trump’s voters are racist. And I think there are probably at least 1% and maybe more of Biden’s voters who are racist. So let’s stop making assumptions about people, shall we?

+1. The same vitriol was there when Bush was in office too but liberals now claim to "have tolerated" Bush and it was not this bad when they basically disparaged him the same way as they do Trump. Selective memory. And you're exactly right about Obama--I can remember joining calls for work where it was openly discussed about Obama and assumed that everyone loves the guy (I work in a non politic related field).

Why do Trumpsters like authoritarian dictators with small hands and an ego complex?

Why do Rs live in MoCo if it's such a communist county? Is there an invisible wall around MoCo that prevents Rs from leaving if they really though MoCo was a communist county?

Anonymous wrote:When Obama ran against McCain I honestly thought that if McCain won we would be ok. He wasn't my choice and I voted for Obama, but I certainly respected McCain.

Then we got Trump. He is a sociopath, a dictator wannabe, a deplorable. It is more than political differences. Your moral compass has to be way off to support him and I don't want anything to do with you.

This exactly. I didn't like the Bushes but I was okay with them and they are decent people. McCain wasn't my choice but if won, I would have been okay. Trump is another story. He is immoral, unfit, unqualified, dishonest, racist, sexist and has serious personality disorders. I just don't know how anyone could support him.

NO NOT True. Trump voters are racist that is a fact. He literally called Covid -19 the China virus again today. This is not rocket science. His tweets will remind everyone forever how racist he is, that will never go away yay social media.
