I can't believe that 6 tickets sold for almost $1000 on ebay. Nice.
Meanwhile I wasted my day trying to get tickets. I got in a few times and then the system crashed. What a way to distribute tickets. Big FLOP!!! |

I WASTED AN ENTIRE WORKDAY TRYING TO GET THOSE TICKETS AND REALLY HOPE MY BOSS ISN'T MONITORING OUR INTERNET USE. MAJOR MAJOR FAILURE FOR WHAT WAS INTENDED TO BE A 'MORE OPEN PROCESS' - IT JUST MEANT THAT HUNDREDS OR THOUSANDS OF PARENTS IGNORED THEIR WORK IN A VAIN ATTEMPT TO GET TICKETS. I WAS ESPECIALLY FRUSTRATED BECAUSE SEVERAL TIMES I GOT TO THE LAST SCREEN TO ENTER THE WORDS THAT APPEAR, ONLY TO HAVE IT CRASH. AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LET THEM DO SOMETHING BETTER NEXT YEAR. |

We dont know that they sold, they could have just ended the auction. Change for change's sake. The old way ensured that people who really wanted to go, got tickets 'first come, first served'. Stand in line, you get a ticket.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it just to put your twist on it. Sometimes things that work can be timeless. That is the point of tradition. Not everything old is broken, not everything new is better. |

Actually, I'm the one that originally posted that I was excited about the changed ticket process. Guess what, I got tickets. So yes, I will have fun. |

I hope everyone who was able to get tickets has fun, hope it is sunny and warm and a pleasant day! I also hope the people who are still whining about the ticket process and how they were not able to get any tickets STOP complaining. |
