New Ward 3 Middle School ???

Oh wait, I know. W3 tax dollars should be spent on improving schools in other Wards. Of course. Silly me (and over-entitled you).

Right, because the person arguing for excellent middle schools in every ward, not just for her own ward, is the Over-entitled one. Rather then whine abOut how your schools, which you admit are "better", are cluttered up with folks from oob (ah, quelle dommage!), you should fight to have those wards outside of your ward become the "better" school, or at least on par. Care to address your conceRns regarding that option, instead of continuing to whine about how tough it is to have a middLe school in your neighborhood that is superior to most other wards?

[Insert cliched or otherwise poorly written retort here. Yo mama raised a fool].

It's not bragging if you can do it. I have earned my air of superiority.

Your Ward is not my concern. I'm still giggling. Was I supposed to?

Sacrificing for the public good? I thought taxes were a responsibility for the public good.

I think public resources, like tax revenues, should be accessible to all citizens. Is this silly?

Ward 3 already has resources. Aren't you the one complaining about all these oob kids at ward 3 schools. So they must be very well resourced schools for all these parents in other wards to commute out to ward 3 for their kids rather than keep the kid in their own ward school.

Yes. But they've been tapped out by OOB and therefore a new school is necessary for W3.

There was a time I wanted to see Mary Cheh as mayor. Thanks to friends like you, that will never happen.

It is silly for you to spout that those of us living in Wards with a higher tax base should not have most of those taxes funneled back into their own Ward in the form of good and services. Perhaps you should move to Canada.

Or better schools in other wards would take the pressure off ward 3. Right?

Kidding, right? If not, perhaps you should move to France before the revolution.

I'm not asking for your concern for my ward. I'm aSking for your concern to extend beyond your own ward.

I wonder what DC's budget would look like if you got rid of Ward 3. These high income earners are such a burden right?
Anonymous
Precisely. They free-load off us, and when we've had enough, they talk about how down-trodden they are and how we can't have anything until they get more.

If not, please know that some of us ward 3 residents don't think like that, but presume the tax revenues that we are fortunate enough to generate are meant for use by the whole city.
