My kid says the dance theme is disco.

The dance theme is disco. |
So shows you how much you know about SSSAS and I assume you’re not a parent. Just like most high schools in 2025, on Homecoming week every day has a theme and the kids are encouraged to dress in the theme. The theme of the day, for the football game, is Team USA which is a play on the Olympics and to dress in red, white and blue. The theme for the dance is disco. Earlier this week it was neon. In past years the themes have been really funny (like anything but a book bag). This year they’re tame. I’m not sure what kind of trolling you think you’re doing, but you look dumb trying to paint SSSAS as maga based on the SSSAS athletics insta post re the football theme. I’m guess you hate the Olympics? |
| Theme days for Spirit Week (this past week) were Neon (Monday), Surfer vs Biker (Tuesday), Decades (Thursday, 70s, 80s, 90s, and toga, 9th to 12th respectively), and Disco (Friday, replicating the HoCo dance theme). The athletic theme on Saturday was Team USA, and the dance itself is Disco theme. No theme day on Wednesday because they have to be in chapel dress. |
| Also, it’s weird that posters are both annoyed the school is supposedly celebrating maga but also not properly acknowledging Charlie Kirk. You trolls need to get your stories straight. Is the school too woke or too maga? Can’t be both. |
| If any school is simultaneously criticized for being too far left and for being too far right, then likely it is much closer to the middle than either extreme. Quod Est Demonstratum. |
You sound so stupid. |
| What happened to the poster obsessed with claiming SSSAS is maga based on homecoming? They just disappeared. typical troll. |
It is both. It’s awkward. It’s probably different admin that shapes different policies. |
OK that man is in no way conservative! |
Lots of schools have a USA themed spirit day. Why is that maga? Four or 5 years ago the incoming 6th graders were asked to fill out an "identity wheel" on the first day of school. It asked them questions about gender identity, sexual preference, their socio economic status and more. These were 6th graders and this was an exercise that a corporate HR would typically administer to adults in the workplace. Not 12 year olds. |
|
To have a forward facing event like a homecoming game against Potomac and the kids show up dressed like a bunch of maga rednecks is a choice.
Also there is no way that identity wheel thing is real- at least not at all in the way you’re describing it. |
The fact that an athletic event can’t have a Team USA red white & blue theme without being accused of being maga is sad. Trump has ruined so much. |
+ 1 But it's true. |
