I’m planning my wedding and fully believe I need to register for china and crystal as I envision many formal dinner parties in my future. I’m also enjoying fancy evenings out with my grad school classmates at Cheesecake Factory and Outback Steakhouse.

Top right pattern 4LYFE.

If you had one of the ones on the top left, you're a psychopath.

Got an oxblood briefcase as a grad gift! Hope I can get away with a blazer and skirt rather than an actual suit. I’m pulling my long hair back into a low ponytail clipped with a satiny bow or sometimes I’ll do a satiny headband.

I’ll ruin my new 9West pumps on the Old Town cobblestone first day.

This exactly. Loved my Casual Corner and Limited suits/separates. It was Jones New York and Ann Taylor when my mother was buying. I had a ton of 9 West shoes and when I wanted something more upscale, I would go for Enzo Angiolini’s or Via Spiga’s. Good times!!

ugh I freakin LoVED 9West.

I don’t have my own computer at college so I have to go across the hall to my friend’s room to play Minesweeper.

In my dorm room at UMCP accessing shared music files amongst other people in my network throughout the dorm. I don’t know what that was but kind of like a rudimentary Napster and it was so fun! Also any Marylanders remember the MARS registration system back in those days before online registration? Memorieeeees

OMG me too! I am obsessing over china patterns, and Towle silverware as well. I am certain that my married future will involve hosting formal dinner parties; there's no way I anticipate hosting exactly 2 and then never any more!

Rifling through my Delia’s catalog and beging my mom to buy me ultra wide leg JNCO jeans and a Paul Frank T-shirt with the monkey on it.

I would warn the scientists at CERN not to make the WWW public without safety nets in place. So well intended but …

I think this was the year I was forced to go to the computer lab at UMCP to create an email account for school. I believe they were laying the foundation for a new approach to communications at the university.

It was all downhill from there ;0)

I didn’t have a cell phone yet (I got one in 1997 when I started law school).
