And Just Like That Season 3

And I don’t even live in Virginia

I grew up a few towns over from where Aidan's farm is supposed to be and it is nothing like how they describe. Carrie can only walk or ATV to the dress barn? Wtf? We have roads in Western Tidewater lol.

It’s painful but I still watch for some reason. Probably because I wish it was 1998 again.

Seema is insufferable. I dislike all the new characters and their story lines.

I also can’t believe how trite they are about stereotypes and aging.

But Carrie was looking forward to the “scenic drive from Williamsburg to Norfolk.” Hope she enjoyed the construction for 40 miles and waiting on traffic looking at the cranes in the bridge and then the tunnel. So scenic!!!

Wait, I don't get this. Doesn't Aidan live in Suffolk? Why would she have driven to Norfolk from Williamsburg? Why didn't she just fly into Norfolk and then drive west to Suffolk? Unless she flew into Richmond in which case she wouldn't have gone through Norfolk at all, she would've driven across the James River Bridge to get into Isle of Wight Co.?

Aiden licking his hand was the worst thing SATC/AJLT has ever shown.

Harry's naked old man torso has entered the chat.

I think he looks better now than when they first got together.

He looks like Dr Evil and James Carville had a baby.

I get it, they wrote Chris Noth off, but Carrie and Big had this GREAAAATTTT LOVVVEEE, and she never thinks or talks about him? And no one else does, either?

She actually says in that one scene that maybe she had it all wrong. She basically diminishes her entire time with Big…like it was a mistake….

Ha! She wouldn’t be in that $$$$$$$$$$ house w/out Big- much less afford the old place.

I hate the reboot, but this little piece wasn’t farfetched. Aidan could have driven her to a target or whatever, the reason she went to the trad-wife dress barn was bc she could take an atv there from aidan’s farm. presumably the farm property is pretty huge, and it does look lovely My friend grew up on a farm in a suburb of Fredericksburg and she has sais it was a 40 min drive to her HS, and minimum of 20 min to get anyplace period.

It's obvious whoever wrote this has never actually been to the area.

The writing is so sub-par it's difficult to watch. The lines are contrived and the situations are ridiculously unreal.

In particular, the whole scenario with Aiden's sons AND his ex wife.

There is no way in hell a mother would call up her ex's old flame and ask her to (illegally) get prescription drugs to give her son.

There is no way in hell even a well-adjusted son would have an over the top enthusiastic welcome for his dad's lover who he's never met before.

There is no way in hell a troubled son would spend even one moment around her.

I predict that Aiden will end the relationship because his sons will always be his priority no matter what and Carrie deserves "so much better" so he will let her go...sob. sob. sob.

IMO it would have been a better more realistic storyline if she had briefly gotten back together with the Russian guy Alex, who then is diagnosed with Alzheimer's or has a stroke.

Let's see how Carrie would handle THAT!

^ I also think it's ridiculous that the writers have zero understanding of the grieving process and Carrie's whole reaction to Big's death is completely off the mark for a widow.

Exactly. Regardless of how they feel about the actor, the Big character would still be impacting her life.

Yeah, the show presented it like boom, 6 months, and she’s recovered. Plus the Aidan relationship is terrible. Should have just jumped in the sack for old time’s sake then said a fond farewell. Her cosplaying farm life does not track.

It's far fetched because in addition to needing dresses, she needed underwear, deoderant, a toothbrush, hair products etc -- all stuff that Target sells but the sister wives store doesn't.

Agree. She’s literally still on the book tour for the book she wrote about his death.
