Umm... you're not grasping the big picture. Dems who care about maintaining control of The White House want Trump to remain the GOP nominee because he is a very weak and awful candidate that can easily beat by a normal/average Dem candidate. Even Biden has a chance at beating Trump. It's just that the odds of Biden winning are less than 50/50 and that's why so many Dems are begging him to withdraw from the race. If you want a Dem serving as POTUS until 2029, you want Trump to stay in the 2024 race and Biden to exit the 2024 race. It's as simple as that.

Here’s the thing, this isn’t about the GOP. Everyone knows they’ve drunk the Trump kool-aid. They believe most of the crap coming out of his mouth. But instead of providing a normal, middle aged, mentally sharp alternative, you’ve decided that acting out effing Weekend at Bernie’s would be a better plan.
