Be better, ladies. We all have our opinions, but we don't need to air each of them, in an effort to try make ourselves look good. Do better. This is what happens when DCUM preaches "confidence" - it ends up looking like this dress.

Learn some humility, take it down a few notches, stay in your lane, and shut your big offensive mouths about other women.

Overall these dresses would be prettier and less sleazy if they were solid instead of see-through and dialed back the strappy stuff.

I agree. I was curious to see if it was dying out so I googled corset dress 2024 oscars, and there were LOTS of corset tops, but basically no sheer ones, so I think stars are starting to agree. It's one of those trends that the first time someone does it, you think -- ooh, that's so edgy, it's like she's wearing lingerie. And then a bunch of people do it and you think -- that's so dumb, it's like she paid for a full dress and only got the underwear. So I think it's a trend that burns out fast. I also just think LS needs a size up or something.

I like the Lilas Ikuta dress from the Town and Country link. And Mayorkas and Blinken's wives both look nice. I would like to see the back of Judith Kent's dress -- something going on there.

If she'd shown up to this looking really classic and refined, I actually think it would have resulted in more, and way better, press. Not to do it all the time but just to say "hey, when the situation calls for it, I can do classy and polished too -- I just choose not to most of the time." That, I would respect.
