A lot of people aren’t used to having ex-presidents with such long records of criminality, so you must excuse them. I mean usually a president is someone you could look to for inspiration. In this case, you got this spray-tanned piece of sht who has lied about just about everything and cheated anyone who has ever been close, so you know, right? Makes sense to have a few posts.

Somebody in the New York legislature passed a bill with Trump in mind, said for one year the statute of limitations on long ago sexual assault will be waived. Then suddenly E Jean refiles. It seems like they got the target first and then they manipulated or redefined the laws to make sure that he could be prosecuted.

When in doubt always go for conspiratorial thinking first, I see.

Except that this is correct. Laws were changed to permit prosecution of Trump and then changed back. It’s sickening.

No, if you read the Forbes article about the lookback law, other jurisdictions (CA, NJ, DC) by that time had passed temporary lookback laws. And not just about DJT:

On the other hand, the ASA has also provided victims legal recourse where their abusers’ serial sexual assaults have come to light. For instance, Wigdor LLP is representing multiple victims of Robert Hadden, a gynecologist who was found guilty of crimes related to sexually assaulting patients in January 2023 and whose victims number in the thousands.

The ASA has provided numerous sexual assault victims in New York State the opportunity to come forward despite the passage of time, face their abusers, and seek redress for the lasting harms they have suffered. New York is not alone. New Jersey, which also opened a lookback window when it amended its statute of limitations in 2019, saw more than 1,000 victims file civil suits that would otherwise have been barred by their age. These lookback windows have been unmitigated successes, offering the victims of sexual assault import legal recourse and giving them an opportunity to publicly share their powerful stories.

Trump got approximately 75,000,000 million votes in 2020. Now, if every MAGA who voted for him in 2020 would send him $7.00 he would have $525,000,000. It would seem they don't love him as much as he thinks they love him.

No. They voted for him because he is super successful billionaire business genius. This judgement should be chump change for trump.

There is that GoFundMe, which, when I checked two days ago had raised 1.3 million. It's now up to 1.5 million! At this rate they'll meet their goal sometime in 2034. That's not counting interest though...with interest figured in 100k a day is basically treading water. Sad!

If Trump would stop sitting on his brain, he should tell his followers to send a check for $7.00 to the court for his fine and to get it there by March 25.

It would be funny to watch a reality TV series where Trump went broke because of all his properties being seized and he had to shack up in a trailer with one of his supporters in the hills of Kentucky. The show would basically document his obvious disdain for the lifestyle and highlight his narcissism. Basically he’d have to like chop wood in the winter, or touch cow udders for milk, and complain like the germaphobe he is on camera the whole time. Netflix get on this!

Can he not just raid the RNC coffers for this payment?

The RNC is broke, too. They only have $8M cash on hand.

Another thing I don't understand--how can Trump politicians stay loyal if his endless need for financial support leaves nothing for their campaigns?

RNC is broke. Any monies now go directly to Dumpies pocket. No money for campaigns they are being told to find donors themselves.

Can we be friends?
This would be hilarious.

Wow. You are such a genius. They can estimate by using Trump's sworn statements and documents submitted to the Court. It appears Trump may have lied under oath about his liquid assets. I hope he's charged for that. You people really are a circle jerk.

Yes this. Trumpies can not do math.

Trump testified under oath last year that he had $400+ million in cash and it was growing. Pretty sketchy that he apparently blew through it when he knew he might need it.

Or, you know, it's also possible that he's a lying sack of shit.

I think the latter is the true description of trump.

And now his lawyers are making it sound like the issue is solely that the amount of the judgement is 'unreasonable", not that he's flat broke. Suuuure.

tick tock, Donnie.
