And have you really never been the person who's handling a lot of complicated policy issues - or worked with one? You get briefs, notes, talking points, messaging docs. There isn't anyone of any importance - or not any importance - who doesn't have that. I've prepared them for countless people.

Except I guess Trump because no one cares what he actually says and he wouldn't read them anyway.

If you had and were an actual staffer of note, you would know this is out of order. I can think of 100s of Dem and GOP principals who didn’t need this kind of handholding. Heck, President Clinton left the State of the Union at the WH once and did the speech from memory when he got to the Capitol.

Clinton hasn't had a lifelong stutter.

Those of us who do know that using notecards can be one way to help not to stutter.

+1 his extreme rigid position but weak legs and short shuffling steps are concerning. It looks like he may have a brace under his clothes to maintain his posture. He is very rigid and doesn’t twist or move his torso. His gait is scary. He’s is a sick old man that should be resting and receiving medical care.

I had stress fractures in my left hip (unknown to me at the time). He is walking exactly like I was (until I tripped and broke my hip). Walking extremely gingerly with hesitating gait.

It’s possible he has hurt himself by falling and is unable to walk normally.

That may explain why he wears sneakers everyday. It’s quite odd tge President of the United States wears sneakers everyday. I have not seen former presidents or other world leaders wearing sneakers everyday.
