Move on from complaining about family. They have kids and will hopefully stay together. If they divorced he would be welcomed back and she would not fare well. She is smart and will not let that happen.

Once he decide he's done, she can't force him to stay. He seems like a ticking time bomb ready to self destruct. Leaving her would hardly be surprising at this point.

He'll never leave the kids. Never, ever.

Why would he leave them? He'll get his 50/50 like everyone else.

I agree with PP. If a split happens in the future it will not be initiated by Harry. I also think that of the two he is much more willing to go without the trappings of wealth, royalty, and fame if need be.

But of the 2, Harry is highly litigious. He will have no qualms about hiring more lawyers to deal with the divorce crisis. I just don't think he's the type to fake it if it's not working. She would be much more inclined to fake it because she needs him more than he needs her.

Megan should have stayed in her own career, which had a modicum of potential.

You may be seeing that but I don't think everyone does; I don't.

Even when someone is truly suffering from a severe loss or illness, people want to hear about courage and determination in the face of hardship. Certainly not whining from a privileged, attractive, healthy couple who had a royal wedding and now living in a 14 million dollar home with 2 beautiful children. Count your blessings!

Yes. Noone begrudged them leaving the BRF and striking out on their own. The problem was the obvious greed and what they chose to monetize.

PP here. +1

Conflicting rumors circulating. One that she is on the verge of signing with Dior, the other that Netflix might drop them too.

They don't live like you would on $30M. A normal person could make that last a lifetime. These are not normal people. They have likely burned through a considerable amount already.

They’re spending $2 million+ a year on security alone. Staff, upkeep of their huge house, designer clothes, private jets,…. They have to be spending millions on legal fees. They’re burning through their $$ very quickly. The Netflix deal was like Spotify — they didn’t get the $$ up front. They had to meet production targets. And rumor has it Netflix is not happy, either. Harry got a $20 m advance for Spare, but that was probably pretax, and he said he would donate the proceeds to charity. They’ll be fine for a while, but their lifestyle is not sustainable.

They are toxic. Why would Dior give someone who is not aspirational a boatload of money? It would harm their brand. The gravy train is over. Their next gig will be a reality TV show on Bravo.

She lacks the self-awareness to see that their "brand" is over, so she'll keep pulling at strings to make it happen. But it's over, because you cannot build a brand when people do not like you, believe you, or trust you. It's over.

Boom. Nailed it. She was never compelling. She was forced down our throat so the media could take jabs at her throne. Now the media has moved on and the dope doesn’t get that she’s an insufferable whiney bore. She has negative rizz as the kids say.

Gently laughing that Bill Simmons is just the Spotify guy on this board - he’s huuuge in sports media. Created 30 for 30, had a wildly popular ESPN column, 2 NYT best selling books, created Grantland and The Ringer, top 10 podcast.

+1 I knew all of this but the only thing I didn’t know was that apparently he’s an exec at Spotify as well. I’m not on Spotify and I don’t listen to his own podcast but The Rewatchables, 60 Songs That Explain the 90s, The Watch and The Prestige TV Podcast are all excellent. And the 30 for 30s are so good you can watch one about something you never even gave a damn about and it’s still fascinating. I’m bummed because I’m still rooting for H&M but at the same time I like Simmons and usually respect his opinions. Huh.

No matter what you think about Bill Simmons, he works hard and is a content producing machine. The fact that Spotify sent him to talk to Harry and he came away with the impression he did says a lot. Harry has never had a job before in his life that didn’t just involve him showing up and being himself. The concept of behind the scenes *work* and preparation is something that staff dealt with. I’m sure he thought all of these deals with Spotify and Netflix would be the same way.

Talk about a chick who totally overplayed her hand. Just dumb. Make me a princess and watch what I do. Stay my a$$ right there in the UK, smiling, waving, shaking hands, holding babies, popping out as many kids as Harry wants and kissing up to Kate and Will. How hard is it??? Just dumb.

They hired Johnny Depp.

Of course they are dull and mediocre as hell. It is not like they had to interview or compete for their "jobs". They were just born into it by dump luck (or misfortune).

Maybe she’ll announce some new venture that Ari helped her land but wants to amp up her “storyline” first. She really is just TOO MUCH.

I don't think it's a pap walk because she's not made up to the usual degree. Looks a little rough in fact.

Right. I think in the midst of being photographed, she realized the paps were watching her and removed her sweater to try and look a little more professional. But she's usually made up and fake smiling when she know she's being photographed. Here she seemed serious/engrossed and not smiley and happy.

Maybe that is not the life everybody wants. You sound like a housewife from the 50s.

NP except Meghan wouldn’t have to do the laundry, cook, clean, raise her kids if she didn’t want to. When not doing two public outings as a royal a week she could spend her days at the spa while the nanny tends to the kids. This isn’t Mad Men.

They criticized Spotify for allowing rogue commentary and podcasts elevating conspiracy nonsense, so they were pulling away when things didn't change. Spotify isn't happy with that, so they called them grifters. They are finding better opportunities elsewhere, that's all, folks. No need to twist it into your scathing narratives. They will be just fine despite everyone's attempts to watch them fail. The podcast won actual multiple awards. Meghan has just signed an enormous deal. Nothing to see here. Move along.
