Is 2024 about trans/crime/dei vs abortion and book banning type of issues?

What’s the problem? The AG is just trying to protect everyone in society from experimental drugs and get every single person in the state mental health help before being allowed to transition. If someone is transitioning then the state needs to know who they are and who prescribed the hormones so they can protect their citizens from the doctors that are trying to make money off of the vulnerable people. Transition is very common and a lot more people are doing it now. It should be frowned upon and be extremely rare if ever allowed. People need to understand that their bodies are fine the way they are and they need to speak to a therapist that will tell them that they are fine. They need to talk to a therapist that will reverse the indoctrination they received from the trans lobby. They shouldn’t be taking these dangerous and highly experimental drugs. They’re destroying their healthy bodies and need someone to protect them.

The number of ppl who transition is something like .0001%. This website is not about anything other than fear mongering and picking on some of the most marginalized ppl. Don’t think it stops with trans people. Swap out trans for “if you know someone who is gay”, “if you know someone with a disability…” and this is getting very close to Germany 1939

Republicans want to keep you afraid of everyone, your neighbors, the immigrants, poor people. Anyone that does not look like you..... That's how they sell you on guns and keep you from finding common ground with anyone.
If you're so afraid of the trans person that you won't even talk to them, you may not know that you share some very similar life experiences of family trauma or hobbies or careers. Even forbid you have common ground with individuals in your community that don't look exactly like you.

No, it's better to make you fear every person so you stay inside and just keep watching Fox News..... Yes, now shoot whoever comes on your property

This is going to happen more and more.

It is alarming and totally unacceptable.

The school should be making an accommodation for this student.

Why do Democrats not support women in sports?

It will now head to the Senate. They should vote to protect women's sports - if Schumer allows a vote.
Biden has said he will veto it.
And, to add insult to injury - Biden plans to alter Title IX to allow people to compete on sports teams that align with their gender identity.

Don't tell us that Democrats support women. They don't.

You are trying so hard to make this issue happen but there is no way a few trans athletes are going to distract from overturning roe. That was an utter disaster and we all know it and are going to vote accordingly. But you keep posting all your woke or anti woke or ultra woke or bespoke woke garbage as nauseum if you must.

We know how we are voting and it is pro choice and it is important. You should join us because it is important for everyone, not just Dems.

DP. Yes, Title IX is dead. Abortion is the issue that will decide the upcoming elections. And a side effect, intended or unintended, is the end of Title IX.

This should please all feminists. /s
It's been a good 51 years for women. Too bad this administration wants to end it all.
This is as anti-woman as you can get.

Overturning roe is as anti women as you can get. Your crying and whining will not change that.

I blame the school for not teaching them that some women have penises

Shut up already. Don't you have your OMG JK Rowling was the victim of a WITCH HUNT thread to go be an idiot on.

Shut up about the end of Title IX?

If that's the tradeoff for abortion rights and gun control, as a moderate, I'll take it. But not happily.

NP. I believe this is where we are. We will get abortion rights and gun control, but at the cost of women’s safety, Title 9, and things like women’s scholarships, STEM advancement for girls, etc. That’s the choice.

No, the Democrat position is that the student belongs in the locker room with the girls, full stop. There is no accommodation because the student is a woman inasmuch as the young girls are girls. Their safety is less important than the affirmation of the older student.

I don't think we're getting gun control regardless. The best case is banning a class of guns that manufactures will easily design around. That means abortion vs title IX and I'm split

Here's the thing... Republicans have baited Democrats into a culture war that doesn't even exist.
My workplace and daycare have had coed bathrooms for a very long time due to space in size. Never once have there been an issue. There are stalls. Everyone goes into a stall and shuts the door does what they need to and leaves. I have used them men's bathroom multiple times at sporting events because the women's bathroom line is a mile long.
My husband has used the women's bathroom to use a changing table when the kids were little as needed.

We don't need laws around bathroom usage and things like that, but Republicans have pulled us into the mud with them.
Abortion should be front and center and to be honest that's all I'm voting on but I really don't care about bathroom rights of anyone because I just don't see it as an issue.

Most people don't give two hoots what bathroom anyone uses?.
This is just a smoking mirrors.... To get people to stop talking about guns and abortion

Just wish Democrats were smart enough to know to shut up and just focus on the end game

You say this, but republicans are finding girls who do mind (like above) and using them to make school boards and democratic politicians look ridiculous. Unless you agree that 14 year old girls showering with an 18 year old trans woman is reasonable. The issue works even better because anyone arguing it is reasonable looks ridiculous and loses all credibility

If I look hard enough I can find people who don't like people who drive motorcycles or who do a whole host of things. Personally don't like face tattoos. That doesn't mean they should be illegal

What about 17-year-old boys showering with 18-year-old gay boys? Is that okay?
