Black, female, grad from a scandals-free graduate school, with a few years at some level of leadership in a high-performing high school, keeps the God references to private life. Thanks!

Or even just poach a candidate from Walls or Banneker. The Banneker AP looks like he would have been a good fit. He started up Ron Brown academy and is now at a high-achieving school.

Ok, at this point this boring. The candidate has been selected. He begins on Jan 3rd. It is his school now. DC has many other high school options if you are not satisfied.

But, But..Bowie State is a graduate school last I checked. So I guess since any level of leadership will do-Business Manager I guess. This is so silly..

Who says any of them were even interested? So you're listing Banneker #1 on the lottery app.......

Too far to commute from Palisades to Banneker. We deserve competent leadership at our local high school.

If we stay in DC, yes I would be considering Banneker.

Considering this school was built bc White UMC families only "buy in" to upper NW schools, I don't think your buy in is the greatest concern of DCPS.

Which is good! It doesn't need to be all about you and what you want. If you have this little faith in your school system (the same system that has hired every teacher and admin that your child has had thus far), then I don't really know what to tell you. It's a you problem not a DCPS issue

It’s good that academic achievement is stigmatized in DCPS? Ok.

Just so you know how you sound: wah wah wah DCPS won't do enough to help my advantaged high achieving student. Why won't they think exclusively of them
