Classic oldest child -- a "pleaser", went to law school b/c it would make my parents happy, crave approval -- it's awful. And, the worst part -- my oldest is exactly the same way.

Yes, Martha was an inmate, but she's no Yankee, at least not in the classic New England sense; she's a Jerzy Girl born and bred, Roman Catholic, Polish (though she could have been Irish or Italian). Gotta love those Jerzy Girls -- bless their hearts!

I work for fed gov't and wear my running shoes with my business suit during morning/evening commute. I don't, however, wear my work ID (or my metro card) on a lanyard around my neck. ?

I'm you except that I don't have the wanderlust - more a home-body who is always moving her plants around and micromanaging her small garden. Oh, and quintessential dog lover.

the goal of a housewife is to manage/coordinate a happy family. having the laundry folded or not.
