GA Playoffs Live Stream

In this day and age, how can there only be two fields live streaming at an event like GA Playoffs. Almost every team major club team in the country has Veo or Trace and I'd bet at least 50% stream live during their games. I don't believe GA allows clubs to bring their own Veo camera either as all fields have Veo and you will get the video after, but for parents or relatives that can't travel to the game it would be great for them to see the game live on stream.

Almost more importantly, college coaches want the stream. My DD team is in the playoff and has one of their pool games on the Streamed Field and the other two are still on the featured fields (turf) but not streamed. I get there will be coaches at the games (Obviously not as many as ECNL so just don't even start commenting on that ECNL Hats) but GA has to do better with this. My DD has had a lot of coaches ask her for the game links if they are not going to CA and she can't provide them.

Why does it need to be streamed live? Coaches will still be able to watch the whole game a few hours later on veo. Streaming required infrastructure that doesn’t exist at the fields. There is barely any cell phone coverage let alone enough to stream multiple games live at the same time.

I'm sure they could it, but we'd all have to pay more. You should read up on ice hockey and what they're doing there where it's all about a monopoly and changing every aspect. Sound good?

Those coaches will be just fine with the recorded link. Besides, they won’t even be able to tell who your daughter really is from the stream.

Taka is the video platform and they have over 200 colleges attending matches, 100+ D1 colleges..

Or as ECNL fans like to say: "1 college registered really equals 2 coaches in attendance." So, there are really over 400 Coaches in attendance and 200 D1 Coaches watching our matches!!!

Which they will be able to already. Just a few hours after and not live. Seems perfectly fine to me and the difference not worth making the event cost even more than it does. Like the $20 to park every day.

Yeah. This rant is really overblown. Games will be available a couple hours after completion.

In the recruiting process with our DD, she never had a coach want to watch the livestream of the game - highlights only or be able to speed through.

In addition to the Veo/Trace or whatever, we lucked out and have a teammate's parent who sets up their phone on a tripod and streams through twitch. They have gotten pretty good with their play by play over the years as well. LOL.

cause nobody watches and its a waste of time, effort and money.
