ACT question

Kid has taken ACT 3 times. Managed to get 36 on both English and Reading sections. Struggling to get math above a 26 despite studying and tutoring. Kid has always been strong in humanities, weaker in math but ok. Question is this a sign of a LD or something else? I know big discrepancies on testing can be evidence of learning issues.

Not sure but this is good information to have for your kid. Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses and your kid is getting a window into that. It can help your child to choose a path that makes use of their strengths while not ignoring trying to work on their weaknesses.

Not necessarily a sign of an LD, just a relative weakness.
