Panini World Cup Sticker Book

Anonymous
We move a lot because of my husbands job and this is the first time in a long time we are back home for a World Cup year.

I’ve been disappointed that I can’t find World Cup sticker books and stickers anywhere. I’ve tried Home Depot, Walgreens and Target. Everyone tells me they’ve been sold out for weeks. It’s also hidden in the back.

Super disappointing and wondering why such little buzz about the World Cup? Everywhere else around the world they are everywhere and kids are trading

Am I missing something?

You are apparently missing the news and current events for over a year if you are clueless as to why the World Cup is lacking excitement and buzz in the USA

During the last world cup, I found the sticker packs at Dollar Tree

Im pretty sure they are getting passed out at tourneys this weekend.

There's no excitement because FIFA is a corrupt organization, tickets are ridiculously priced so that US fans can't afford them, and foreign fans don't want to/are afraid to travel to the US under the Trump regime.

We’ve been working on our book as well as lost of my sons team. Lots of kids trading cards. There is more $ this year surrounding the Panini books because there are more teams in the World Cup and because it will be the biggest World Cup ever.

I’ve heard CVS carries everything Panini related.

Yes, my kids got them free at a tournament, but they were hard to find four years ago (though I would point out that if they're sold out, apparently there's some kind of buzz out there).

For the people out there who think visiting the US isn’t popular because of the President . . . The games in Mexico and Canada also haven’t sold out yet. It’s due to ticket prices and that’s it.

If tickets were 30% less they would all be gone.

If there weren’t about of garbage teams in the WC because of tournament expansion, far more tickets would be already been sold.

We filled the album 4 years ago when there were 32 teams and it was fun, but expensive. Now that there are 48 teams and that everything is so expensive, we don't feel excited to spend so much money doing it.

+1 Same for us also. I purchased 3x $50 packs of the stickers on line to get super close to completing the last one. For this one, I think I would need about 5x $50 packs to complete the book, because it requires so many more stickers.

OP, 4 years ago, we got the book and stickers from both Walgreens and Walmart... this time around, we got he book from the President's Cup tournament, but I haven't seen any local sticker packs at any retailers.

Amazon does have the packs for $50 again:
