Why is everyone at Holton-Arms leaving?

Anonymous
Holton has a record number of “legendary” teachers leaving this spring. Usually there will be 1-2 of those, and the rest are younger teachers who have come to gain experience for a year or two. Any idea what is happening? Is it the HOS?

What do you mean by "record number" and what exactly does "legendary" mean?

And stop hyperventilating...

Everyone!?!!!

Rampant grade inflation and administration supporting parents over teachers. Teachers there are better off calling up each parent at the end of the year and asking "what should I give your child in the class?"

How many are leaving? Why?

3 are reported leaving... that is hardly a "record number" Calm down. The school is amazing.

I didn’t realize that Guinness or the Elias Sports Bureau kept records on such things. What was the previous record?

My US daughter says 8 US teachers not returning next year plus 2 left early plus 2 counseling positions left mid year. Not sure about the other divisions. Notable since it has tended to be a place where teachers stay for a long time….

It’s 10 high school teachers plus some in other divisions

Teacher at a different private school here - that is major and something is definitely up and the answer always lies with the HOS.

It's 20 across all 3 divisions.
A couple retirements, but don't know why others are leaving.
