| Where can I buy a nice dress for my DD who is 12, 5’2” and very thin (90 lbs). Anything in DC? I would like to go somewhere and try a few options with her. |
| We went cheap and did Kohls. Also try Amazon. |
|
Amazon! Really.
Or Holliser but they might be sold out of the small sizes. |
| I found a nice, appropriate dress at Macys in the girls section. My DD is also super skinny (83lbs) so I went down a size. It was floral, knee length with a little flare and short sleeves. It had a tie in the back so I could tighten the body which really helps make it fit better. It was about $50. |

I’m giving more casual stores to look and also
More formal - dillards has a juniors section that’s pretty small, hollister if casual sundress, altard state possibly, if online lulus has xxs and Princess Polly can be hit or miss. |
| Macy's online has been good to me! Also Nordstrom's Rack. |
Check out the Aqua brand at Bloomingdales. (I know the store is officially in MD - but so close) |
| If you’re willing to metro to pentagon city, Nordstrom kids section usually has nice dresses. The juniors section also may have something in xs. |
| We ordered a couple from Amazon and kept the one she liked. |
| Target has some cute dresses. Amazon too. |
| We bought one at Kohl's last year. |
| Dillards at Fair Oaks Mall in Fairfax. I'm in MD and it's still out go to for cute dresses for my tween. |
| Altard state in Tyson’s starts in size xxs and they run smaller than a lot of the brands in Nordstrom and Macys |
There is no Dillards at Fair Oaks Mall. |
| Princess Polly and Lulus are very popular with tweens now and they both have a lot of white dress options |
