Summer basketball league

| My 3rd grader has played winter basketball the last couple seasons and is playing spring for the first time. He is enjoying it and we can see the improvement from continuing to play in games. What is a good summer league in western Fairfax county? I was looking at Reston, but it looks like they let entire teams register together. It seems like a kid without a team could get placed with random kids and they would get crushed by the pre-formed teams because those are usually the kids and parents who are super into basketball. Am I wrong about this? What other options are there where the teams are not formed in advance? |

| Try FPYC (Fairfax Police Youth) and SYC (Springfield) because they sometimes run summer leagues. |

| He’s ready for a an AAU program or a good trainer who does regular group sessions. He needs to be in the gym atleast 3 times per week or more to keep competitive. |
