| I could go either way on this. Hard to say. |
| Women for sure. - woman |

If you have something significant going for you, be it beauty, intelligence, charm, charisma, or sense of humor, you may get lucky trying to date people who seem out of your league. I've dated women who looked like super models and I've struck out with women who were nice looking but not beautiful. Some very athletic women won't give me the time of day and others like me. Same idea for brainy women.
Some women I liked a lot told me they thought I was out of THEIR league too. I just liked them for some reason. I also know some smart, successful men and women who seem drawn to complete losers for some reason. Personal preferences and chemistry matter a lot. |
+1 |
| I would wager that overall it would be men. |
| Men think they are entitled to someone who is more attractive than they are, and women think they are entitled to someone who has more money than they do. |
|
Mostly men, and a few women.
Woman here, I have known both, the women who eventually can't ascertain their league typically have other mental health issues. |
| men but women do it too |
+1 men are delusional about their abilities as well. Women under estimate the intelligence, ability and looks. Lots of beautiful women think they aren't that pretty; lots of average looking men think they are good looking. https://theconversation.com/men-think-theyre-brighter-than-they-are-and-women-underestimate-their-iq-why-178645 |

not according to research |
“Research” mmhmmm |

Honestly, its kind of a mind f for women. They can literally open a dating app or go to a bar and sleep with whoever they want. Between this and other women’s over-positivity it makes them think the guy’s they can sleep with are the ones they can marry.
With men, they just don’t get it. Other guys aren’t feeding them bs, they’re just too dumb to understand. |
