Construction Work Causing Home to Shake -- Creating Cracks in Walls

| I live in an older home in DC. Whenever the road is torn up near my home or when heavy equipment drives down the road, the home shakes. Recent construction work has added new cracks in our walls. Do I have any recourse to get any compensation from the city for the repair work? |
