slow cooker meal idea with chicken/ tomatoes/ peppers??

Hi,

I just bought a slow cooker. I went grocery shopping and randomly got chicken, tomatoes and peppers. DOes anyone know of a stew/slow cooker recipe that I could incoprporate these ingredients in? Also, any other slow cooker recipe is welcome. I am excited and can't wait to use it!!

Try googling Chicken Cacciatore and crock pot. You should get some good ones.

Maybe I'll do that for dinner myself. Sounds so good. . .

Just made it this week. I used boneless chicken thighs, i jar tomato sauce, 1/2 onion, 1 can of paste, 1/2 cup red wine 1 package of mushrooms. Alos garlic, salt and pepper.

It comes out really tender. I cooked it on high for 4 hours.

allrecipes.com has an ingredient search function. If you type in chicken, tomatoes, and peppers and in the "additional keywords" box you type in slow cooker or crockpot, a bunch of stuff comes up. Here is one:
