Start by making your university campus a safe-space for Jewish students; then we’ll talk.

They did that a year ago.

Again, what did Harvard do?

Feeling uncomfortable — or even feeling harassed — doesn’t actually mean they’re not safe on campus. And Bill Ackman complaining about what some undergrads say about Israel is no reason to put the full force of the federal government into trying to destroy an institution. (This is just one Jewish Ivy League, non-Harvard, graduate’s opinion, but still.)

And if the presence of KKK members doing what thoae protestors did made Black students uncomfortable and/or feeling harrassed?

Yes, "KKK members at Harvard are making Black students uncomfortable by mimicking what pro-Palestinian protesters did" is a hypothetical.

Black person here. Feel free to go f--k yourself, you pompous, racist scum.

The KKK was created to serve as a paramilitary death squad wielding state power while giving the government plausible deniability. Its sole purpose was to murder and terrorize Black people back into subjugation as close to slavery as possible. At its height, its members were the most powerful members of society, including multiple presidents and countless governors, mayors, federal law enforcement heads, state law enforcement heads, and wealthy businesspeople. Today, the KKK remains in existence solely in the hopes of restoring an overtly anti-Black racial order.

You really have the audacity to suggest that the students protesting Israel's ongoing genocide on campuses are positioned in relation to Jews and Israelis as the KKK is to Black people?

Black history and pain are not yours to exploit as cheap talking points.

Trash.

Aren't you something making assumptions abour who I am and my life experiences. I know all abour the despicable actions of the KKK. I disagree that people, and in this case students, can't feel scared and threatened by groups of protestors who are doing far more than just holding up signs or speaking at a microphone. As for what you suggested I do, you seem familiar using that kind of language.

It's great at the minimum that a light has been shown on Harvard that they have 30% some say 27%, but it's probably more of foreign students. Imagine your children being able to go to Harvard with these folks were not part of the admission process. I guarantee you Americans are not happy about that. I need to take care of our own country first until acceptance rates get higher. There should be no international students or at least a cap of like 5% which are normal for most schools

It’s a little sad that you seem to think that the motivation behind the Trump administration’s attack on Harvard and higher ed in general is an attempt to level the admissions playing field for US citizen students. It’s about power and control and is right out of the authoritarian playbook and every dictator has done it before.

Also, if you knew the first thing about other countries and their universities, you would know that most in the world accept foreign students and many accept a whole bunch of them. And where did you get that 5% number for a cap for foreign students. Did you pull it out of the air when you claimed it was “normal” for “most schools”?

He totally pulled the 5% number out of thin air.

Fortunately, NYT has some data:
https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/23/upshot/harvard-trump-international-students.html

Which countries allow foreign students to engage in protests?

Which country has historically itself out as the beacon of freedom, democracy and free speech? Lately, it has definitely not been the USA. I guess all history has an ending. But to answer your ridiculous question, international students in the UK may participate in protests.

Free speech is one thing. Blocking streets and buildings, disrupting campus activities and classes, intimidating people, trashing buildings, etc is not free speech and not allowed in UK. Foreign students should welcome the opportunity to be here. Otherwise, return home.

Funnily enough, universities here don't "allow" disruptive protests either. Those kids get in trouble. Next.

So then why did disruptive protests contunue at Columbia?

+1.

25% undergrads at Harvard are Jewish. How many of the faculty… most likely the same or higher percentage. Now only right wing Jews who unconditional and actively advocate for Israel’s right wing government will be considered for management?

This seems more like a take over by right wing Israelis interests vs protecting Jews. What about the 75% of students who are not Jewish?

The point is that it HAS happened at schools where students feel threatened. No one should feel threatened for simply being a student anywhere. Harvard and Columbia Jewish students have done nothing to harm Palestinians.

DP. If that's all they were doing, that's protected by the First Amendment. But it isn't and you know it. The anti-Israel "protesters" are using violence to intimidate and harass Jewish students, taking over buildings, destroying property, etc... They are acting exactly like the KKK, but instead of hoods they're wearing keffiyes to conceal their identities. Same outfit, different cloth pattern.

You altered the posted wording. The post stated: "And if the presence of KKK members doing what thoae protestors did made Black students uncomfortable and/or feeling harrassed?"

You really need to get off TikTok. Less than 10 percent of Harvard undergrads are Jewish.
