Transfer U = Reclass Factories. The academies like Culver.

Transfer U is Good Counsel. It’s the running joke with the conference players.

It where you go to play and actually get recruited. The running joke seems to be working for them.

Long-time observer of area HS lacrosse and played in the college ranks. The assessment above is pretty accurate.

Bullis brings back Mahar who can take over a game on the offensive side of the field, Bullis also returns a talented fogo. Look for Bullis to be able to score in runs if their FOGO gets hot. Bulldogs bring back most of their offensive starters from last season so they should have more chemistry.

Landon, while they are very well coached and always have the horses in between the lines, their offense will be a shell of what it was last year with Pannetti now gone. They return both of their fogos who were good last season but to my knowledge, they have no one on their roster who has the offensive talents of a few of the 24s who just graduated.

SJC will be very interesting. Draley was a beast last season as he carried the Cadets in several games when offensive production was lacking (WCAC championship game) Cadets return their attack (added in a senior transfer to bolster the lineup) and Offut in the midfield but none of them are even close to the caliber of player Draley is or when Duenkel was healthy.

Prep will be in a re-building mode this season as the Hoyas graduated a talented 2024 class.

Honestly what you are describing is more that the region is really down for the year overall. Bullis plays a weak schedule and has a weak overall team - some great players - but coaching and years of experience tell us that they will fall apart over a season whether its due to lack of depth, coaching or just pressure. Prep and St. Johns will lose a LOT. Key positional weaknesses at FOGO and Goalie. Plus their 'stars' are just not 'stars' like they have had in the past or as they are being billed as. Gonzaga is solid but zero playmakers like the Eagles had in Johnny, Landon had in Panetti and Roberts, or Prep had with Kabiri and Burns. So look for I Street to rely on its defense, as offense will be a HUGE problem, as will FOGO and goalie. Landon is the sleeper. Very strong at FOGO, goalie and great depth at midfield. Attack and Defense are individually so-so, but as a unit solid. Combine that with their coaching and they will be formidable. The rest of them - PVI, GC, EHS, ST. Alban's, SSSAS and DeMatha - will be very up and down due to coaching, personnel and schedule. But I really believe knowing lots of the personnel at some of these schools that if you sleep on any of them, they could easily pick off one or more of the Bullis, Prep, St. John's, Gonzaga and Landon teams. Its just a down year compared to years-past. The kids all know each other. So no one is sneaking up on anyone, which should make for some competitive matches this spring.

Bullis and Landon likely have the strongest 2025 classes in the region.

SJC is the best coached team in the region with a good senior class.

On any given day this Spring, I do think the Bears, the Cadets and Bulldogs could beat up on one another.

So no clarity, then?

Those are two 180° antithetical statements. As you are someone that "really believes knowing lots of the personnel", seemed like you really had something to say, but no idea how to say it, other than drivel and contradicting yourself.

So I guess no comment is correct, there's no spinning that mess.

90% of DMV lax dads are complete tools, and half that group are attorneys. You caught the man making a contradictory statement, well done. Now please STFU, this isn't high school debate class and no one's going to give you a little trophy for this.

It’s actually pretty funny that this know it all wrote a long post lecturing everyone, and said that some of the weaker teams will sneak up on the stronger ones, but then in the very next sentence he said nobody is sneaking up on anyone. You don’t need to be a lawyer or a tool to laugh at that.
