| Looking for suggestions on where to order prescription reading/eye glasses. Hoping for something online with a large selection of frames. Thanks. |
| Warby Parker. Website is easy to use, prices are good. Takes about a week to get them as I recall - I ordered some last summer. |
I can spot Warby Parker glasses across the room. They look cheap. |
| I vaguely recall looking into this and 39dollar glasses were made in the US and zenni were made in China if that’s relevant to you. |
| Believe it or not Walmart and Costco work fine. I wasted so much money on Lenscrafters over the years. |
| Zenni |
Any recommendations? |
| EyeBuyDirect has been hit or miss but cheap enough that I don’t mind the misses. And I love the ones that work. |
This is the one recommended by Wirecutter. I’ve started looking there several times but always chicken out and buy in store instead. I really want my lenses done right. |
I buy my glasses here. There are premium brands in addition to the cheap in house frames. What keeps me coming back are the lenses. I wear progressives and they, at least for my prescription, make the best progressive lenses I have found. That includes the super-expensive Zeiss (and comparable) lenses. I have no explanation, but it just works. |
I like them too. |
| I've used 39dollarglasses and zenni - really just look at all sites and choose cheap and decent looking. They arrive quickly and I've never had a problem. I use an app, GlassesOn, to get pd |
| David Kind. A nice array of shapes and the pair I got from them has been VERY robust—it is way higher quality than pairs I have gotten from WP or Zenni. |
| I hate my WP. |
+1 David Kind. I still wear the glasses I bought 9 years ago. Have been thinking about sending them to get refurbished. |
