| Hooray! |
| Baltimore, Carroll, Frederick and Howard all delayed. |
| Icy! |
|
Just drove to work at 530 from Burtonsville to Rockville along 198/28.
Just wet, no ice |
| My car is covered in a thick glaze of ice |
Mine was too but it took 4 seconds to get into the truck and drive away |
Defrost it then. It doesn’t mean school shoujd be delayed/closed. The roads are fine |
| My kid was so unhappy when I woke her up and told her school was on time. I’m happy though. Maybe we’ll actually have a full week of school for once |
| Taylor is starting to grow a spine when it comes to weather calls. |
He’s counting on the state legislation passing to get him out of his mess but that bill is still predicated on a minimum number of hours and days. If he calls out any more, we’ll have to tack on days regardless of what the legislature does. |
I did defrost it and drove my high schooler this morning with no issues. I was responding to the PP who said there was no ice. MCPS made the right call today. |
| We had 2 staff members and a parent fall on the sidewalk leading up to our school. The staff members were ok but the parent looked MAD when they were in the office trying to figure out the next course of action |
It was wet, not icy. We can't close every time it rains because some people are clumsy. |
Agree 100% |
|
Roads were wet with maybe a couple of slick spots. People just needed to drive carefully as they would on any rainy day.
I hate driving in wintry weather and I was totally comfortable driving yesterday and today. My car also had a glaze of ice on it and it just took a few minutes with a scraper and the car on defrost. |
