Early release?

Snow starts at 1 pm

They’d have to call it by 10 am and they won’t because parents will complain since there won’t be snow by then.

MoCo Snow says early release is unlikely. Bigger problem will be icy roads Tuesday morning

No, but a real chance of delayed opening tomorrow, I think.

While it WILL snow, it will not accumulate, perhaps not even on grass.

No way. Nice try.

What are we thinking about a potential delay tomorrow (Tuesday)?

I don't think it's at all reasonable, so MPCPS will probably do it -- usually they go one step beyond what is reasonable.

The snow has started... at least here in Bethesda. Slow, big flakes that don't seem to be sticking... yet.

It's sticking around the county. Shoulda done an early release. How is not making the early release call be justified with the whole 'hard for buses to commute' thing if students also use buses in the afternoon to get to their after school place?

What's the temperature?

It's barely sticking. I only see it sticking a bit to trees and grass. Not the roads... kids will be fine coming home.

Rockville- it’s sticking on grass but not streets. If there’s a delay tomorrow I’ll be fine, if they close I will lose it. My kid who has been sick twice and out for a 3 of the days that they did manage to have school for each illness) is so out of his routine.

I’m thinking delay for tomorrow.

Where? It's sticking to the grass, not the street.
