Attorney Recommendations to sue MCPS?

Anonymous
Looking for recommendations. Are there any good Due Process & Personal Injury attorney's left that have won against MCPS?

MCPS did bad things under the prior Superintendent. They got away with it. But MCPS can't help being MCPS. Now it looks like another similar but different issue. I don't think Taylor is a bad guy, but not doing a CIP this time - heading straight to court so MCPS CO doesn't have time to bury the bones this time. I noticed that MCPS spreads around a lot of money amongst some really good law firms (to keep them on their side of the docket) so it's tough finding an attorney who'll go against them. No, nothing to do with CIPs or boundary studies or stuff like that - this is pure personal injury.

I'd recommend the firm of Zyprexa & Depakote.

This is an indication of malice and desire to hurt others.

Hopefully you don't work for MCPS, BOE or Central Office?

Good luck with that.

Here’s that attention you ordered. 🫴

Go through the county’s bar association referral service. If you check dockets or news articles you can see there are plenty of lawyers to go up against MCPS corruption.

If it is personal injury that happened to an employee you should go through the workers comp lawyers.

Has MCPS successfully defended themselves in any recent lawsuits?

OP you could probably hire Joe Shmo off the street and win. MCPS hires the dumbest people possible and constantly pays out tax payer money that they shouldn’t have to.

No one knows what you’re alluding to. And no attorney is going to jump to represent you.

Agree. MCPS sprinkles a lot of money around. Multiple firms are on retainer or hired by taxpayer dollars. One MCPS defense case can easily involve two or three separate law firms. Not everyone is on the dole. Some attorneys still believe in doing the right thing.

But right is right. Wrong is wrong. When a parent's child has been wronged, a parent will fight back. It's as simple as that.

Appreciate your thoughts.

OP’s made they had to care for their own children for longer than two days in a row. They feel personally injured by the stress.
