Yeah yeah I know. It’s the best and all that, but come on, anyone got any high performing recs?

Stuff like ^ FRDM, FMTM, EWY, ^, FLKR and others? Emerging markets and momentum funds and things?

VT is very risky. In my opinion, when you hold a total/world market index already, and you are looking to add an additional fund you should go for an index that's less risky.

That's just my 2cents

How is VT risky?! The only risky thing about is opportunity cost if the U.S. outperforms.

VT is risky? lol wut?

KORU is risky. Fking ETHD is risky. VT is some sht you could throw $1000 in now and have $10,000 in 10 years without sweating.

Uuuuuuuuh. Can someone give me some good ones? Not some ones everyone already knows about.

Like EMEQ and FRDM. Anyone know any great emerging market ETFs? Or just anything that isn’t super obvious?????

VTI, plus I have some REITS in my retirement account, but they've done relatively poorly lately. I should just stick with VTI.

This is a good Boglehead question.

Well VT can be risky in that equity can all be correlated in crashes (see 2008). If you are concerned about risk during a crash, find a non correlated asset like PMs or Treasuries.

SCHD has done well for me since late last year, up around 16.5% since.

Sounds like OP wants more risk than VT given that he is asking for emerging markets. I don't have an answer, but SCHD is definitely not it.

SMH, QTUM

Do you have in your Roth, taxable or 401k?

Well VT has always tanked during moments of crises correct?

It's not a risk free asset like many of you think. As an example, look at its Top10 holding
