What’s the best UNSOLVED/MISSING PERSON podcast you’ve ever listened to?

I have a big project this afternoon and would love to listen to something like this. Whether it’s a well done single episode, or a multi-episode deep dive, I’m all ears. Give me your BEST suggestion! Thanks!

It’s not a podcast but unsolved mysteries was one of the most chilling series I’ve ever watched. My brother and I used to watch it growing up and Netflix did a reboot a few years ago.

I used to LOVE THAT SHOW. Dateline was a (distant) second favorite.

I don't listen to much true crime but really liked "Your Own Backyard" about a student who disappeared from Cal Poly in the 90s. I went to college there so the personal connection made it interesting to me. The podcast did lead to a conviction.

Vanished is a good one.

In The Dark, especially the Curtis Flowers series, but Blood Relatives is also good. Bear Brook.

Seconding Bear Brook. True crime and unsolved mysteries is not really my genre, but New Hampshire Public Radio did a phenomenal job chronicling the years’ long effort to give names and dignity to the anonymous victims of a serial killer.

Currently listening to one about Jacob Wetterling that’s pretty good

Brandon Lawson was my favorite case. It was unsolved when I first heard about it on a pocast (probably True Crime Garage) but it has since been solved.
