Is it too late to drop down a level in a high school course?

| We have a note in to the counselor, but any teachers here know if it is too late in the semester to drop down a level in a math HS course? For instance, from AP to Honors, or Honors to on-level? |

| At this point it is primarily an issue of space availability, but you have 25 class days in the semester to switch without a W on the transcript. |
