MCAP and other test documents up in ParentVue

Folks have probably already seen them in print form, but MCPS has now put up the official MCAP score reports in ParentVue (dated about a month ago, but I'm pretty sure they were uploaded much more recently.)

The Kindergarten Readiness Assessment report was also uploaded for kindergarteners, and there may have been other reports put up as well.

What about winter MAP tests taken a few weeks ago?

The MCAP scores are from last school year.

The winter MAP window hasn't even closed yet (it is scheduled to close this Fri 2/6 but will probably get extended to 2/13 or beyond)-- they are usually released a few weeks after the window closes and all students have finished taking them.

A lot of my 9th graders never finished the winter MAP test and as far as I know, they have no plans to allow them to finish

Current 4th grader has MCAP posted (from last year).

Kids took this twst in April/May 2025, MCPS was sent electronic scores in July, uploaded score summaries in September and finally uploaded the full report in January.

McPS is SOOO slow at everything. They need to hire some magnet HS kids as interns who can do all this stuff 500x faster than their staff.

MCAP is from last year and doesn't start until spring of 3rd grade so your kids wouldn't have scores yet.

Your kindergartener should have a KRA report, though, but maybe they're not all uploaded yet?

Maybe, still nothing new is up. Don't know what KRA or MCAP is, just have MAP

MCAP is state testing students do every spring starting in 3rd grade. KRA is a state kindergarten readiness assessment they do at the beginning of the school year for every kindergartener.

Thanks for this -- new MCAP info for my 4th grader and the KRA for my youngest that I hadn't seen.

I have a K and I never saw a KRA. We do Dibels?

Thanks Op - looks like they were uploaded in early January, but I definitely missed it. I hope that the 2026 MCAP results are uploaded in a more timely fashion, but this is at least a start.
