Catholics: what are your favorite saints?

There are so many amazing saints. I am always interested in finding new canonized saints to learn about. I love reading how these people followed in their life God’s will and how they can intercede for us in our prayers to God

I like Saint Joseph Cupertino. We were told to pray to him when we were taking a test and then we weren’t allowed to ask him to give us the right answer. We were supposed to ask him to help us study the right questions..

lol.

This isn’t particularly
my favorite saint, but I love the tradition of our crazy aunts, buryinga Saint Joseph statue in the front yard of house they were trying to sell, and then when the house sold, they thought it was because of the statue instead of the real estate agent.

I love that St. Thomas Aquinas thought
male fetuses were formed and received a soul at 40 days, while female fetuses took 90 days

I am a fan of Mary Magdalene.

Maybe St Joesph's job was to help the real estate agent.

Saint Monica. She’s a great reminder to have patience.

He is the patron saint of real estate agents.

St. Anthony, who helps me find lost things and St. Francis of Assisi, a fellow nature and animal lover.

She is the “apostle to the apostles”.

It’s pretty impressive that she’s decided she was the first one he was going to see when he rose from the dead.

You’re just gonna drop names and not tell us what they are the patron sign of or why you like them?

Ok, here we go
Saint Joseph, cared for Jesus, love to think about him as somebody that gets family life
Saint Therese, I fell in love with her ‘little way’ to holiness
Saint Charbel, I feel deep connection with Middle Eastern Christianity
Saint Josemaria, appreciated the attention to holiness in every day work life
Saint Margaret of Castello, amazed that she turned a physical limitations and bitter rejection from her family into love for God and for people
Saint Agnes, at some point I was living next to a church dedicated to her so she was my ‘neighbor’ for a while
Saint Veronica, courage and love on the Calvary way with Jesus
Saint Bakhita, I read her personal story and cannot take it out of my mind. So much trauma but also so much resilience
