Teachers still have today to enter in grades correct?
Kid still has one class that shows several 0s on assignments that he swears were turned it.
|
| Yes. I’m curious whether report cards will be delayed by weather though? Don’t know how that works. |

"Information about grading deadlines and grade reporting will be shared later this week"
Schools and offices closed today |
| Dr Taylor said grades will now be due the first day we report back to school |
Good. My kid is also showing missing assignments for things that were turned in. |

Per the Red Laert message: “Staff training scheduled for Monday and/or Tuesday will be canceled or rescheduled for a later date
Information about grading deadlines and grade reporting will be shared later this week” |
| Shut up, people. Today was supposed to be the day for teachers to finalize grades. No one is working today as offices are closed. People have lost power. Chill out and be patient. |
| I heard that grades are due end-of-day the first day back to school. |
Don’t be nasty and work on your reading comprehension. No one is complaining that grades aren’t due today. Quite the contrary in fact |
| Schools are closed so I assume teachers are not under any obligation to work. However, it's my understanding, based on conversations with several teacher friends, that many of them finalize grades at home. Depending on the school, most of them were not required to be physically present at school today unless they are first year teachers. |
LOL. 22 people lost power. |
But the PP *knows* in their heart that they were all MCPS staff who had grades due today. |
No. It's a Code Red. |
| I'm a high school teacher. Based on the information given to all of us, grades are due at the end of the first day we reopen. I can't speak for everyone, but I've finalized my grades today since I had the time. A lot of teachers are getting it done today, but don't be surprised if someone take advantage of the extended window to finish up grading. |
| Sorry. I made a typo. It should be "don't be surprised if some take advantage..." Student essays have taken their toll on my writing skills. |
