“ We received, and confirmed reports of ICE activity just off campus this morning around 8:15 on westbound University Blvd. directly in front of the fire house, adjacent to campus. We are in communication with MCPS and liaising with county government officials. Further, we are reallocating our security staff personnel to monitor the front parking lot throughout the day. Should we see additional activity, or unidentified law enforcement near campus, we will let you know.” |

According to Councilmember Kristin Mink on Facebook, ICE forcibly removed the driver and abandoned the car—with child seat and soccer ball in the back seat—in the left turn lane in front of the fire house.
Mink says her staff suspect the driver was probably making a U-turn rather than turning into the school. Per multiple witnesses there were no passengers, and Blair admin say the car's plates don't match anyone registered to park on campus. |
