Please help with this concert question!

I'm finally up for tickets in Bruno Mars concert queue. This is for a gift for someone and I cannot spend over 150/ticket or it'll be too big a gift. The only tickets at that price are very very far in the upper section of large stadium. Is that a waste/bad gift? If so I will not buy. I cannot physically go to concerts due to sensory issues so don't have a sense at all of how enjoyable that sort of view would be (can do straight on or side).

Is this at Landover? The upper level is very far away and yes very high up. Lower bowl and club level are better. It’s hard to know what the recipient will think. If it was my favorite artist I would want to be closer. But some people just care about being there and aren’t concerned about seats.

TY I think I will pass then. It's a bday gift and the person loves Bruno Mars but if there's a risk they won't like the seats it's not worth it.

People are still paying over $150 to see Bruno Mars?!

These were the cheapest! Some were 600+.

If you don’t like the tix available now, wait to see what the prices are as the concert date approaches. Sometimes they open up additional sections and sometimes the prices go down using authorized resellers.

Try posting on Entertainment forum. There was a thread earlier today. Someone waiting hours and paid over $400. Boggles mind to think someone pays this much for B Mars.oh well. https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/1309698.page

I’m a seat snob. Don’t give me shitty seats.

I saw this and fell in love

But I wouldn’t invest unless the seats were excellent

Be willing to pay 400 plus. The recipient better be in love with this guy for this gift.

I don’t know Bruno Mars but for a different concert, DD told me she would prefer not to go if she had to be in nosebleeds. She wasn’t being ungrateful, she was telling me not to waste the money on the tickets. So we didn’t go because the tickets were astronomical.

I remember feeling the same too when I was younger. You can’t even see the person when you are that far away and I felt like I was basically watching them on tv.

I am an absolutely straight and narrow rule follower in 99.99% of my life, but will sneak up front at concerts every single show. It's the one baddie piece within my soul.

Please don't. We hate you people.

Today DCUM taught me that Bruno Mars is the hottest ticket of the year apparently.

Depends on the venue. I received as a gift the worst seats in the house for Bruce Springsteen back when it was the Verizon Center. But the sound was excellent and the huge screens everywhere showed everything. The crowd was great. Still one of the best concerts I've been to.
