My VA state taxes have reduced dramatically… should I contact my employer?

| Are there any 2026 tax tables changes in VA, my per pay period tax went from $274 to only $67. I have a feeling my employer may have made a mistake. |

| Ask them wtf. You don't want to owe a lot. The standard deduction increased a little. |

| I think this is a reflection of the change in the VA standard deduction for 2025. Jan 2026 is the time time you will see that benefit take place. |
