Donating furniture in need of repair?

Is there anyplace that will accept furniture that needs some repair for donation? I was wondering if maybe someplace that trains people to make repairs or something.
I have a cherry wood Basset dresser — the metal runners for a couple of the drawers are shot, and the base of one of the drawers also needs replacing or repair (the bent runner sort of pulled it a little). The rest of the dresser is very solid but the runners really need replacing.
Has anyone found a place that will take stuff like this?

If you're not looking for a tax deduction, then find a junk removal place. They will take pretty much anything. Then they can repair/resell whatever is salvageable. That is my preference to just taking something to a landfill.

Your best bet is to put it on Facebook marketplace for a low price and explain the issue. If someone has a hobby or business fixing up furniture, that's where they are going to look.
However, it may not be worth the effort to fix. If you don't want to bother fixing it, chances are low that someone else wants to do it.

Salvation Army will pick it up. They might give it to someone who will repair it, especially given its solid wood. That’s so much sturdier than the crap from ikea

They might pick it up, but they'll probably trash it. Any place that takes furniture donations is trashing a good chunk of it. No one can store and match make and deliver all that stuff. They just take everything to keep donors happy.

You could try local schools that might have vo tech. My niece's high school had a furniture restoration elective where the students refurbish donated furniture and then auction it off as a fundraiser: DC International public school (DCI, not WIS).
